01 What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, the home page of Silk Creative Labs LLC, a California limited liability company based in Los Angeles. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Silk Creative Labs LLC.

Each of our brands (for example Sessurely, Burnish Audio or Cerise Agency) runs its own website or app with its own privacy policy. When you follow a link to one of them, that brand's policy applies there.

02 What we collect

Very little. This website has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and it does not set cookies.

• Your view setting. If you switch between the Universe view and the Simple view, your browser remembers the choice in its own local storage under the name "xp-mode". It stays on your device. We never receive it, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
• Server logs. This site is hosted by Vercel (Vercel Inc.). Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time of your visit. Vercel keeps these logs for a limited time and uses them to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• The contact form. If you use the form on the home page, we collect what you enter: which door you chose (Partner, Collaborator or Client), your name, your email address and your message. The form sends it to us as an email through our email provider, Resend (Resend, Inc.). It is kept in the studio's email inbox, not in a database on this site. Resend also keeps a log of sent emails, including their content, for its own retention period.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use it only to reply.

03 Fonts, images and links

Fonts and images on this site are served from this site. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other outside service to show them.

Links to our brands and to platforms such as the App Store, YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook take you to sites we do not control. We tell your browser to share at most our site's address (silkcreativelabs.com) with them, never the specific page you were on, but those sites have their own privacy practices.

04 How we use information

We use the little information described above to show you the site, keep it working and secure, and answer messages you send us.

We use what you send through the contact form, or by email, only to read and answer your message and to keep a record of our business correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

05 How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as Vercel, our hosting provider, needs them for delivery and security.

Messages you send through the contact form, and emails you send us, are kept as long as we need them to answer you and for our business records. We delete them if you ask us to.

06 Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may give you the right to:

• know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it;
• get a copy of that information;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do neither);
• limit our use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any through this site);
• be treated equally if you use any of these rights.

To make a request, email contact@silkcreativelabs.com. We will confirm we received it within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also ask someone you have authorized to make the request for you.

We extend these same choices to visitors outside California.

07 Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

08 Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we collect so little that there is very little to protect.

09 Changes to this policy

If what this site does with information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
